Comedian and actor T.J. Miller gets murderous in his new short, I’m Having a Difficult Time Killing My Parents. Miller plays an unemployed 32 year-old who has found himself living at home with his parents. Meanwhile, his high school sweetheart has gotten engaged; so, naturally Miller’s frustration manifests as fantasies of offing his own parents. The film, which Miller (along with co-writer Jeff Tomsic) wrote for Sundance, is reminiscent of Miller’s 2010 short film Successful Alcoholics– dark, hilarious and strangely compelling. Check it out.
