Two Bill Murrays made an appearance on Late Show with David Letterman last night: Murray in the flesh and Murray as a hologram. I have no idea how holograms work, except for those shiny “holographic” Pokemon trading cards I got as a kid, but I gotta say, this was way more impressive. Yeah, sure, Tupac did it first in concert at Coachella but Murray might be the most mundane hologram, tuning a banjo and then putting in eye drops. Holograms are just like real people. Don’t forget that.
