Get a Life, the surreal and much-loved sitcom from Chris Elliot (Eagleheart), finally comes to DVD on Sept 18. Shout! Factory is releasing the entire 2-season series as a 5-DVD set, which you can pre-order on Amazon now. We don’t know what’s included as far as special features yet, but at the very least it’s been confirmed that they’ve been given permission to keep the show’s beloved original theme, “Stand” by R.E.M.!

The show ran from 1990 to 1992 on Fox and starred Elliot as an eccentric 30 year-old paperboy who failed to ever really grow up. Most of the series was written and produced by Elliott, along with David Mirkin (The Simpsons) and Adam Resnick (Late Show with David Letterman). The sitcom’s bizarre, irreverent humor made it a poor fit on the network and Elliot struggled to keep the show on the air. But ever since, its always had a large cult fanbase that’s been waiting for a proper DVD release. For now, let’s check out a clip!
