Legendary comedian Joan Rivers has been traveling the country the last few weeks, promoting her newest book I Hate Everyone…Starting With Me. In addition to hitting up the traditional late-night chat shows and participating in big media interviews, Rivers will also be helping to educate kids. It’s true!

This Friday the 79-year-old will guest star on the animated PBS hit Arthur, to play the grandmother of Arthur’s good friend, Francine. Lovingly referred to as “Bubbe,” she’s there to help Arthur and his sister D.W. deal with their grandfather’s increasing memory loss. This will be the second time Rivers has guested on Arthur as Bubbe. “Working on my second Arthur episode was a lot of fun,” says Rivers. “I am proud to be associated with an organization that works hard to educate children on trying social issues and family challenges such as a loved one’s memory loss.”
