Watch Bill Murray’s 13 minute minor league Hall of Fame acceptance speech

Among “legendary comic performer” and “Oscar-nominated actor,” Bill Murray can now add “Hall-of-Famer” to his list of achievements. This week, Murray, who has plenty of connections to the baseball world (he is part-owner of several minor league teams, including the Charleston River Dogs, the Hudson Valley Renegades and the Brockton Rox), was officially inducted into the South Atlantic League Hall of Fame. Why? Murray himself isn’t sure, but he put on his worst checkered blazer, showed up with no prepared remarks and delivered a 13-minute acceptance speech, which you can watch below:
