Rashida Jones, known for playing Ann Perkins on Parks and Recreation makes her screenwriting debut with Celeste and Jesse Forever, a bittersweet dramedy starring Andy Samberg. Samberg and Jones play high school sweethearts who married young and divorce as they hit 30, yet try to remain friends while pursuing others. Celeste premiered at Sundance this year and audiences report that it was one of the highlights. It was just purchased by Sony Picture Classics and is set to open in select theaters in New York and Los Andeles on Aug. 3. Here’s the just-released trailer!
