Following up an amazing appearance on the Tonight Show with Jay Leno on Monday, Louis C.K. visited Jimmy Kimmel Live last night, where he revealed the early results of his latest DIY project– selling tickets for his upcoming national tour, exclusively through his official website. On the first day of sales, C.K. sold 80,000 tickets; and as of last night, 15 shows were already sold out and he’s grossed $4 million.

You can check out the full interview with Jimmy Kimmel below, wherein the pair chat about C.K. being cast in Woody Allen’s next flick (and how Andrew ‘Dice’ Clay eventually snagged his role) as well as how C.K. deals with pushy fans. And the comedian even works in what I believe will be Apple’s next big marketing line: “The iPhone is like having a pencil that can suck your dick.” Amazing.

The tour kicks off Oct. 3 in Cleveland and ends Feb. 1 in Washington D.C. Every ticket in every city costs $45, regardless of seat placement and all taxes have been absorbed in the price.
