Oh, hey. Remember all that talk months ago from Danny McBride about how he and Eastbound & Down co-creator Jody Hill wanted to go off and do other things instead of coming back to HBO for a fourth season? Well, forget you ever heard it. Eastbound & Down is coming back for a fourth season.

The show, which follows the life of McBride’s washed-up former pro baseball player character Kenny Powers who’s forced into a job as a gym teacher, will be back for at least eight more episodes. No word yet on what HBO offered McBride and his all-star producers Will Ferrell, Chris Henchy and Adam McKay to convince them to come back for another season. Regardless, we’re happy to watch the return of Kenny Powers! To celebrate let’s watch the man in action.

What are you most excited to see in the fourth season of Eastbound & Down?

Maaaan, I loved the ending of the series. I’m excited to see Kenny come back, I just hope it doesn’t get spoiled.

Season Three absolutely ruined this once great show, the departure of the writer Sean Harwell is the reason for this.
