We’ve been jerked around on this news for a year and a half now, so what can we really expect? Jimmy Fallon posed this question to Jeff Daniels last night on Late Night, hoping to once and for all settle the flip-flopping news reports of a possible sequel to the classic comedy Dumb and Dumber, with original stars Jim Carrey and Jeff Daniels. The final verdict? We don’t know yet.
Daniels assured us that we should have word next week on whether the Farrelly Brothers decide to go ahead with the remake. Even though Daniels said last month that the movie was “not happening,” it sounds like there is still a chance. We’ll know for sure (maybe, probably) next week! Fallon also offered his congrats to the actor on landing a second season of the new HBO drama The Newsroom, Daniels talked about living out of an RV when he’s working in Hollywood and more.
