WTF With Marc Maron returns to public radio this month for a second season– and we couldn’t be happier for. Naturally, wider distribution on a more accessible medium means more listeners will get to tune into his show. PRX is presenting the series of six episodes nationwide on stations like WNYC in New York and WBEZ in Chicago.

The format for the public radio shows are a little different than Maron’s podcast unfettered podcast. The interviews are trimmed down to one solid hour and he has a little public radio introduction explaining who he is and what the show is about for listeners who might be tuning in for the first time– but ultimately nothing (besides the occasional dirty word) in terms of content is lost.

The second season will feature interviews with Amy Poehler, Dave Foley of Kids in the Hall fame, Norm Macdonald, Todd Hanson from The Onion, comedian Carl LaBove (who talked at length about his legal troubles with Sam Kinison’s family), and a tribute to George Carlin with Sally Wade.

Check your local public radio station for listings so you can catch the new season!

Considering the type of episodes being included I’m surprised the Todd Glass episode didn’t make the cut.

This sounds awesome. Will he be posting these on WTFpod.com too?

i don’t think so. these are interviews that have already aired on the podcast. PBS is repackaging them and broadcasting.
