When Sundance standout Bachelorette hits theaters Sept. 7, it will undoubtedly be compared to last year’s comedy blockbuster Bridesmaids– and with good reason. The flick centers around newly-engaged Becky (Rebel Wilson) who informs her three friends — played by Kirsten Dunst, Lizzy Caplan and Isla Fisher — that she’d like a low-key bachelorette party. As you can imagine, that doesn’t happen, and hardcore hijinks begin. Sounds familiar, no?
The movie was penned and directed by Leslye Headland (known for her work on the gone-too-soon FX series Terriers) and also stars Adam Scott, James Marsden and Hayes MacArthur. Check out the just-released trailer below!
