Saturday Night Live will reboot its primetime election specials, which we saw last election season four years ago, this September. Bob Greenblatt, NBC’s chairman made the announcement this morning at the executive meeting of the Television Critics Association (TCAs). The specials will air on NBC on the last two Thursdays of the month, Sept. 20 and 27. NBC made this possible by pushing back the season premiere of 30 Rock to Oct. 4, leaving those two Thursday slots open.

Let’s check out an SNL political blast from the past, shall we?
