At this morning’s Television Critics Association event, FX has announced that Louis C.K.’s critically acclaimed show Louie will, indeed, return for a fourth season. Of course, this news isn’t all that surprising, seeing as C.K. is just about the most-loved comedian of the past few years. TV Line reported the news.
What’s more surprising is that Russell Brand’s fairly dreadful new show Brand X has also been picked up for a second seven-episode season. Although the network says it’s going to be restructured a great deal, according to EW. I say start the restructuring immediately. Brand’s a talented, smart comic with a great point of view. Let’s see him that way.
Wilfred is also expected to return for another season, and Martin Sheen will be joining the cast of Charlie Sheen’s Anger Management.
