While in Montreal last week for the 30th anniversary of the Just For Laughs comedy festival, I got a chance to sit down with comedian Sarah Colonna, who was there, in part, to accept the honor of being named one of Variety‘s 10 Comics to Watch.

In addition to headlining comedy clubs across the country, Colonna is also a writer and producer on Chelsea Lately (and therefore a co-star of After Lately, which has just been renewed for a third season) and the author of New York Times bestselling memoir Life As I Blow It. Adam Sandler’s production company Happy Madison is now developing a sitcom based on the book. We chatted about all these things and more– and you can listen to the entire interview below. Enjoy!
