Among the myriad reasons Seth Meyers will not be positioning himself as a late-stage candidate for co-hosting duties alongside Kelly Ripa (as was reported recently) is, no doubt, the deal he just inked with NBC. Though he’s set to return as Saturday Night Live‘s head writer and “Weekend Update” host, the multi-talented Meyers will also be busy developing a multi-camera sitcom with his brother, Josh, known mostly for his work on MadTV.

Though details around the project are sparse, according to the Hollywood Reporter, the as-of-now untitled script will center around two brothers (not surprising) and will be written and co-executive produced by Seth, Josh and two-time Emmy winner Peter Grosz of The Colbert Report. Lorne Michaels, naturally, will also act as executive producer.
