If the trailer is any indication of how fun 3, 2, 1…Frankie Go Boom really is (despite its stupid name), we’re in for a treat when it becomes available through Video On Demand services Sept. 10 and then released in theaters Oct. 12. And it’s not just because we get to see every comedy nerds’ crush Lizzy Caplan scantily clad or Whitney Cummings scantily clad or Ron Perlman dressed in drag (he’s equally as ugly as man or woman, by the way). We’re excited about it because it tells the heartwarming story of Bruce (Chris O’Dowd) who overcomes his drinking problem and forms a new, special relationship with his brother Frankie, played by Charlie Hunnam, the British actor best known for his role as Jax on Sons of Anarchy.
