The wait for the new direct-to-Netflix season of Arrested Development gets more and more unbearable with every update. So far, we’ve seen photos from the set, the announcement that John Slattery has been added to the team and promises from the crew that the show will return as good as ever.

And now, some more exciting news from Ron Howard, whose main presence on the show (aside from his producer credit) is as the narrator of the unfortunately hilarious lives of the Bluth family. He will appear on camera in the new season! We’re not sure if we’ll be seeing a lot of him or if he’ll just make a minor appearance like he did in the season three finale, but either way, we’re excited!

Hopefully, we can expect more updates from the Arrested Development team as filming continues. So, let’s just re-watch some old episodes and try to keep our cool until early 2013. It’s coming!
