It seems clip shows are in high demand. Fuse just announced the premiere date for its new half-hour comedy program. Off Beat rounds up the funniest music-themed viral and viewer-created videos, and it’s all being hosted by comedian Mike E. Winfield with comedian Mal Hall as his sidekick. The series will premiere Sept. 14 and will run 12 episodes through November.

It’s interesting to note that Mike Gibbons, executive producer for Comedy Central’s viral video clip show, hosted by Daniel Tosh, Tosh.0 serves as creative consultant for Off Beat. Fishbowl Worldwide Media along with Vin Di Bona, Bruce Gersh, Susan Levison, and Beth Greenwald — the same team behind Shaquille O’Neal’s  upcoming clip show, will produce.

On a related note, TBS greenlighted a clip show earlier this year, featuring comedian and Conan writer Deon Cole as host.
