It’s no secret that Saturday Night Live is going through some huge changes. When it debuts its 38th season on Sept. 15, they’ll be doing so without Kristen Wiig, Andy Samberg, Abby Elliott and perhaps Jason Sudeikis, who’s been long-rumored to be leaving the show this summer. Still, they have shows to put on and hosts to invite.
NBC announced today its first three of the new season: Family Guy creator Seth MacFarlane will kick things off with Frank Ocean as musical guest. We dodged a bullet there– at least I feel like we dodged a bullet, seeing as MacFarlane — with his album of crooner ditties — could’ve easily doubled as the night’s music. I’m sure we’ll see him sing, anyway. Yay? Joseph Gordon-Levitt follows MacFarlane on Sept. 22 with musical guest Mumford & Sons. And on Sept. 29, Daniel Craig will host with Muse as the musical guest.
