Salt Lake City’s NBC affiliate may have banned The New Normal from airing in and around their gay-hating, Mormon-soaked, God-fearing city but they cannot ban the Internet. The more human citizens of that locale will be able to peep the show, which centers around a gay couple (played by Justin Bartha and Andrew Rannells) who hire Goldie, a young woman (Georgia King) to become a surrogate mother to their first child. The show co-stars Ellen Barkin, reality television show NeNe Leakes and Bebe Wood, who plays Goldie’s daughter. The New Normal, created by Glee‘s Ryan Murphy, debuts Sept. 11 at 9:30 pm ET.
