Get ready to make space for more Earwolf podcast goodness on your iTunes subscriptions. In the past two years, Scott Auckerman (above) and the Earwolf community have been producing some of the best and most popular comedy podcasts available. And while your week may already be full of Comedy! Bang! Bang!, Who Charted? and Sklarbro Country, the Earwolf team has been working hard to be able to provide audiences with new programming, increasing their already stellar lineup with seven all new podcasts.

“While we will never turn our backs on comedy —- this I swear -— we at Earwolf felt it was time to branch out and try some new styles of programming,” says Aukerman, Chief Creative Officer of Earwolf and host of Comedy! Bang! Bang!, Earwolf’s flagship show (and now a television show on IFC). “So starting in September, we’ll be separating our website into three different categories: Comedy, Music, and Lifestyle.”

Premiering this month will be the three debut podcasts in the music category including Shotwave with Grant-Lee Phillips, Nocturnal Emotions with Har Mar Superstars and Shots Fired hosted by Jeff Weiss and MC Nocando.

Earwolf’s lifestyle section debuted in August with Love, Dad hosted by David Koechner and Earwolf CEO Jeff Ullrich. Joining Love, Dad later this month will be Yo, Is This Racist? hosted by Andrew Ti. And last but certainly not least, keeping up with the traditional comedy format of Earwolf are Nerd Poker: Dungeons and Dragons with Brian Posehn and The Fogelnest Files with Jake Fogelnest. Expect many new programs to debut in each of these categories in the coming months.

Not as good as the podcasts being put out by Deathsquad or the Nerdist people. Lets be real. Comedy Bang Bang isn’t highly ranked in iTunes.
