Everyone knows Jon Stewart and Bill O’Reilly have a storied past appearing on each other’s respective programs– The Daily Show on Comedy Central and The O’Reilly Factor on Fox News. Their discussions on politics and the world around us have gotten heated (to say the least) and have generated huge buzz for both cable giants. So, why not do it some more?

Watch the uncensored 13-minute Bill O’Reilly appearance on The Daily Show from last September.

On Saturday, Oct. 6 at 8 pm EST from the campus of George Washington University in our nation’s capital, the duo will face off in a 90-minute debate dubbed The Rumble in The Air-Conditioned Auditorium, streamed live online therumble2012.com and moderated by former Fox News Live host and CNN contributor, E.D. Hill.

You’ll be able to watch all the action for $4.95, which you can pre-purchase now at therumble2012.com; if you order before Oct. 1, you can submit a written question that may be asked during the debate. If you’re in the Washington D.C. area, or are willing to travel for this monumental show, you can buy tickets ($100 or $75) at lisner.org. Stewart and O’Reilly are giving half the proceeds to charity. Check out messages below from Stewart and O’Reilly, who calls the upcoming event a “trainwreck.”
