Jimmy Kimmel is finally saying goodbye to his Los Angeles studio and bringing Jimmy Kimmel Live to his hometown of Brooklyn, NY— for one week, anyway. Later this month, Kimmel will welcome the likes of Chris Rock, Jon Stewart, Stephen Colbert, Tracy Morgan and perhaps, most importantly, David Letterman, Kimmel’s life-long hero, to his temporary East Coast digs.

Kimmel has guested on Letterman’s Late Show, but this will be the first time the veteran late night host will visit Jimmy Kimmel Live. Letterman actually declined an invitation to become the first ever guest on JKL when it debuted on ABC in 2003. But Jimmy keeps the rejection letter hung in his office, proving he was just happy to get a response.

The Brooklyn shows will go down at the Brooklyn Academy of Music (aka BAM) from Oct. 29 – Nov. 2. And as of this writing, only tickets for Oct. 31, Nov. 1 and Nov. 2 are available. You can request free tickets here. Or you can just watch this super fun video of Kimmel visiting Late Show with David Letterman.
