In August, Showtime aired Daily Show correspondent Larry Wilmore’s first ever comedy special, but it had a twist. Instead of delivering an hour of stand-up, Race, Religion & Sex In Utah found the longtime writer and producer on location in the unofficial Mormon capital of the country, Salt Lake City, hosting a town hall-type event.
And apparently it was a success, because Wilmore will host a second special for Showtime, this time in Jacksonville, Fla, set to tape on Oct. 24. The hour-long event will air Nov. 3, the last weekend before the presidential election between Barack Obama and Mitt Romney. You can check out the trailer from Wilmore’s Utah show below.
