Logitech’s Smart Radio: Stream comedy and tunes without your smartphone or computer (Sponsored video)

You may know them best for their stellar line of high-end headphones, earphones and wireless speakers, but Switzerland-based Logitech has recently released something that will allow you to enjoy your tunes (and comedy, naturally) a lot more.

Smart TVs – the ones equipped with WiFi – are getting increasingly popular so it makes sense, then, to have available to us a Smart Radio. Well, Logitech’s got one: at less than nine inches across and only five inches high, once connected to WiFi, this thing will stream Pandora, Spotify, Last.fm, Rhapsody and any other Internet radio stations. There’s no need to go online or launch an app—it’s all right there in this super portable radio.

Sometimes we forget just how accessible our music and comedy is. And that’s why we love this video the company produced to further drive the point. In the 1960s, the UK’s national radio station banned any music they deemed immoral. So a group of rogue DJs called The Savages set up a makeshift radio studio in an abandoned gun tower nine miles offshore, and played anything they wanted. Check out the story below.

The Logitech Smart Radio retails for $179.99. You can get more info here.
