When the news broke on Friday about Gen. David Petraeus, the now-former CIA Director, due to him having sex with someone who wasn’t his wife, we quickly posted Jon Stewart’s Jan. 25 interview with said person who isn’t Petraeus’ wife, Paula Broadwell, the general’s biographer. Why did we do that? Well, it just seemed like the only way to capitalize on the crumbling of multiple families and to support the country’s unending derision as it relates to our government.

And last night on The Daily Show, Stewart was all too happy to reprise the interview as well– in the name of making fun of himself. At the center of his self-ribbing was that he never caught on to the supposed sexual innuendo Broadwell was dropping during the interview, which was meant to plug the Petraeus book, All In.

“The fucking thing never crossed my mind,” Stewart yells. “I am the worst journalist in the world. For God’s sake, the title of her book was All In. She may as well have called the book What’s Got Two Thumbs and Is Banging His Biographer? This guy.” Check out the full video below!
