Comedian Katt Williams was arrested last night in East Oakland, CA after police broke up a bar brawl at around 3 a.m. TMZ reports the comedian allegedly broke a bottle over someone’s head at a hotel near Kimball’s Carnival, the club where the scuffle took place. The comedian was questioned by police and released, although an investigation will continue.
Williams, 39, is currently in the middle of his Ghetto National Convention tour and is scheduled to perform in Oakland tonight at the Oracle Arena. This incident comes on the heels of Williams’ meltdown onstage in Denver on Nov. 1, when he took his shirt off onstage, babbled and then left when the crowd began heckling him.
