He already co-stars on Adult Swim’s Eric Andre Show, recently released his stellar second album and DVD Animal furnace and has a pilot in development with Fox, which he co-wrote with Jonah Hill. And now it seems ABC wants a piece of Buress.
The network that’s made a hit out of Modern Family has inked a deal with the comedian to co-write a single-camera comedy pilot, wherein he’ll play a police officer in a small, suburban town. The pilot is untitled. It’s unclear as to whether his cop character will have the opportunity to search a perp for bomb water.
