He’s already snagged a role in Woody Allen’s upcoming flick (Blue Jasmine), and now Louis C.K. is in talks to join the cast of the Oscar-nominated, Golden Globe-winning Silver Linings Playbook writer and director David O’ Russell’s next project, according to the Hollywood Reporter.
The as of yet untitled flick (former title: American Bullshit), already stars Bradley Cooper, Christian Bale, Amy Adams and Jeremy Renner and will follow the adventures of Mel Weinberg, a con man who helped the FBI solve a corruption scandal that covered Atlantic City and Washington D.C. If C.K. does land the part, he would play an FBI agent in the period drama.
