You may remember Tim Heidecker’s 14-minute-long Bob Dylan parody “Titantic,” released last year. Well, the Tim and Eric Awesome Show, Great Job! star has outdone himself this year, albeit in much more economical style with its under-four-minutes run time. The thing about his latest song, “Running Out the Clock” — “leaked” under the guise that Dylan, himself, will perform the “lost” track at the Super Bowl on Feb. 3 — is that it’s an excellent song. The lyrics are straightforward and perhaps overly simple, but such is the draw, some would say, to Bob Dylan. The musicianship is solid, the arrangement perfect and well, just tell us what you think!
