You may remember — or perhaps you’ve made yourself forget — that there is a sequel to Twins in the works. It’s called Triplets and it reunites Danny DeVito and Arnold Schwarzenegger from the original 1988 flick about a short fat guy who finds out as an adult he’s got a twin brother who is decidedly not short nor fat– also he has an Austrian accent, which I can’t remember whether they explain, not that it matters. The hilarious spin on the sequel is that Eddie Murphy has been added to the cast.

Lest you hope think the project was dead in the water, let us assure you that Universal is still very interested in shitting out producing this thing. “Arnold and I have had dinner about it. We met with Eddie Murphy,” DeVito says. “That was actually before I went away and came here [to London] to do [stage musical] Sunshine Boys [in March 2012]. That’s how long [ago] it was,” adding, “Universal is very excited about doing it. It’s just a matter of finding the script that we like and a story that works.”

Dear, Mr. DeVito: There is no script or story that will “work.” Please let this die and just make sure It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia never stops airing new episodes. Love, Dylan.
