Amy Poehler is coming to Comedy Central! Sort of.

The network announced today that popular Web series Broad City has been picked up to series and will debut 10 episodes in 2014. Poehler will executive produce the comedy, centered around Upright Citizens Brigade alums Abbi Jacobson and Ilana Glazer, who play “two friends in New York City navigating their way through the minutiae that is life, making the smallest and mundane events strange and funny,” according to Comedy Central. Poehler (as well as other comics like Kristen Schaal and Hannibal Burress) has appeared on the series, so there’s a good chance she’ll pop in and out of the first season.

According to the Broad City YouTube channel, the series was in production with FX. Obviously, things have changed. The series first launched online three years ago. If you’re unfamiliar with the show, the teaser below should help you out. Enjoy.
