andy dick 200A new season of Dancing with the Stars premiered last night on ABC, and with it, came the first performances from the only two contestants we care about– comedians D.L. Hughley and Andy Dick. As expected neither one fared very well. Hughley came in dead last with a total score of 12 out of a possible 30 while Dick was second to last with a score of 17. To give you a sense of how bad those scores are, the top-rated celebrity dancer, Disney television star Zendaya Coleman, came out on top with 24 points. Hughley later tweeted, “I didn’t put in the hours and I paid for it!!! I’m gonna rehearse til my feet bleed!! This will not happen again!”

The comedians — and the 10 other dancing duos — will get another shot next Monday, March 25 before eliminations begin the next day. So, make sure you vote for Hughley and Dick so we can see more of them on DWTS, because, really we don’t give a shit if they’re not great dancers, we just want them on television. You can check out the judges’ harsh words below.

Even before DL Hughley admitted that he didn’t put in the work required to be successful on the show I knew that was the reason for his really bad performance on the show. You could just tell that he missed the crash course in footwork completely and no I’m not buying that he doesn’t have a dancing background. I watched the clip of his performance in my office at DISH and it was hurting me to watch the entire thing. Hopefully now he’s prepared to work and give us something to watch next week. Dancing with the Stars comes on while I’m still at work and I kind of want to see what it’s all about so I’ll catch up on my way home. Thanks to the Hopper and DISH Anywhere I can turn my tablet or my Android phone into a TV wherever I am.
