Lucky comedy fans in Austin will get to peep Maron a full week before its official debut on IFC. As part of the second annual Moontower Comedy & Oddity Festival, Marc Maron will be on hand to screen a full episode of the show based on his life as a successful podcaster and comedian. The show, which will feature a long list of guest stars — Aubrey Plaza, Denis Leary, Ken Jeong, Andy Kindler, Mark Duplass and more — premieres on the comedy-strong network May 3 at 10 pm ET. The screening goes down on Friday, April 26 at 5:30 pm at Stateside, next door to the Paramount theater. Maron will also participate in a Q&A after the screening.
In addition, Maron is set to perform stand-up at the festival as well as record a live edition of his podcast WTF. The festival will run from April 24 until April 27 and will include performances from Bill Burr, Anthony Jeselnik, Michael Ian Black, Amy Schumer, Janeane Garofalo and many more.
