Sarah Silverman will likely join the already-stellar cast of Seth MacFarlane’s newest comedy flick, A Million Ways, the Family Guy creator’s second live-action big screen project. His first, last year’s Ted, has grossed nearly $550 million worldwide.
A Western, A Million Ways centers around MacFarlane’s character, a sheep farmer, who slinks out of a gunfight. To his chagrin, his girlfriend (Amanda Seyfried) leaves him for another dude. But then a stranger comes into town (Charlize Theron) and she helps our antagonist grow a pair. But wait. The lady’s hubby (Liam Neeson) arrives looking to kick the sheep farmer’s ass.
The character Silverman would play, according to The Hollywood Reporter, is that of the town’s well-known prostitute, “who engages in all sorts of lewd activities but refuses to have sex with her fiancé (Giovanni Ribisi), believing that as Christians the couple should wait until marriage before lying down together.”
