Every last Friday of every month at the Fireside Theater in Newport, RI, a hundred or so people gather to revel in quality comedy at the Wasted Talent comedy show, a stand-up showcase featuring about five or six solid comedians. It should also be noted that this is a BYOB show. It sounds amazing, actually. However, packing up your unlimited amount of booze and parking yourself in the front row of a comedy show may not be the best decision. Especially if you’re emotional because your mother just died. Especially if John Moses is onstage. Check out how Moses – whose album we chose as one of the best comedy releases of 2012 – handles the situation during the latest Wasted Comedy show on March 29.
