Last night on The Daily Show with Jon Stewart, Stewart highlighted the flawed system that benefits the few, and leaves the rest of us majorly fucked. He did so by providing a brief tutorial on what’s occurring in Congress in regards to insider trading and the banking system. So what happens is this: there will be a congressional banking meeting held, the representatives will discuss what’s occurring with different banks and companies, and then subsequently cash in on the news they just received. Obama has been trying to change this norm with his 2012 act, “The Stock Act.” Yep, that’s right. Just let the irony flow. This whole thing seems fair to me, right? Anyone have any problems with it?
