It’s been eight years since Sarah Silverman’s stand-up comedy film Jesus is Magic (see below) was gifted to the world of comedy. Since that time, the celebrated comedian has kept busy in television — three seasons of The Sarah Silverman Program on Comedy Central, Bob’s Burgers, among others — and films (most recently Wreck-It Ralph), not to mention on-and-off live tours. But for those of you eagerly awaiting a new, proper stand-up special, you’re wait is almost over. Silverman will tape a new hour titled Sarah Silverman: We Are Miracles next month in Los Angeles. The results will be aired on HBO later this year.
