In what has to be the least surprising news this television season, CBS has greenlighted a full series order for Chuck Lorre’s new show Mom, according to Deadline. The series will star Anna Faris and Allison Janney. If you don’t know who Lorre is, he’s the producer behind some of the highest-rated sitcoms on television; Two And A Half Men, The Big Bang Theory and Mike & Molly– all of which air on CBS. Mom centers on single-mom Christy (Faris), an alcoholic – now sober – who’s trying to stay clean while living in Napa Valley (lots of wine there)!

I love Anna Faris and Allison Janney, so I think its great this show has been green lighted for a full series! I’m looking forward to how it turns out, so I will definitely keep my eyes peeled for a future premiere date. Because of my work schedule at DISH I won’t be able to watch the series live, but I will make sure to record each of the new episodes to watch on my own time. Thankfully my DISH Hopper can store up to 2,000 hours of entertainment, so I’ll have plenty of room to record this new series among all of my other shows in the future; I can’t wait!
