After eight years and the creation of what seems like an endless list of characters Bill Hader will be leaving Saturday Night Live. This weekend’s season finale will be his last episode. “It was a hard decision, but it has to happen at some point. It got to a point where I said, ‘Maybe it’s just time to go,’” he told The New York Times. Hader’s departure comes one year after Kristen Wiig and Andy Samberg exited the show. Hader is best known for his absurd renditions of political pundit James Carville, Al Pacino, Vincent Price and arguably his most popular character Stefon, the effeminate New York City lifestyle guru.

Hader will be seen next in The To Do List, starring Aubrey Plaza, Arrested Development‘s Alia Shawkat, Rachel Bilson and Samberg. It’s out in theaters July 26.

With Hader’s exit, it’s about time to wonder whether Fred Armisen and Jason Sudeikis are next. There was talk of Sudeikis leaving before the show’s current season and Armisen is already plenty busy on his IFC sketch show Portlandia. Armisen and Sudeikis have been on the show since 2002 and 2003, respectively.

In honor of his last episode, let’s check out a trio of some of our favorite Hader appearances on Saturday Night Live. Leave your favorites in the comments below!
