If The Colbert Report were an after school program, its June 12 show (11:30 pm ET on Comedy Central) would be referred to as “a very special episode.” As part of his Out There tour and to promote the reissue of Wings Over America, Paul McCartney will be appearing on an hour long episode– for both an interview and performances. While McCartney has appeared on the show before for the Jan. 28, 2009 segment “Better Know a Beatle,” (see video below) this will be his first time rocking The Nation with his musical talents. And even if you can’t spring the $200 plus for a ticket to see him live, you can get one of his song’s exclusively on ColbertNation.com.
