Comedian Wanda Sykes is back in all her glory — not that playing the school therapist on a recent episode of The Simpsons isn’t glorious — and she’s got Oprah Winfrey behind her! The veteran stand-up will host Wanda Sykes Presents Herlarious, two stand-up specials airing July 13 and July 20 at 10pm on Winfrey’s OWN network, Deadline reports. Herlarious will feature an all-female comedian roster including Andi Smith, Gloria Bigelow, Marina Franklin, Tracey Ashley, Carmen Lynch and Dominique Witten as well as Kym Whitley (OWN’s Raising Whitley). While the majority of the hour-long shows will be taped in front of a live audience, they will also include comedy shorts starring Sykes and guests.
