Comedy Central launches stand-up comedy video app, features more than 700 comedians

With the release of its new stand-up comedy app, Comedy Central has once again expanded its cross-platform reach across the world of comedy. Simply titled CC: Stand-Up – the stand-up comedy-specific sub brand the network has been building up for more than a year online and on television – the app boasts a slick interface and plenty of social media integration.

Found exclusively on iTunes, the free app is now available for iPhone, iPad and iTouch. If you’re rocking anything other than an Apple product, you’re out of luck.

On CC: Stand-Up, you can search for comedians (more than 700!) by name or allow the app to make connections and recommendations based on the comedians and joke topics you’ve previously viewed.
