With his exit from Saturday Night Live last month, Fred Armisen has more time to tend to Portlandia, his stellar sketch show on IFC. And thankfully, he’s taking advantage of the situation. He and co-star Carrie Brownstein will be returning for its fifth and sixth seasons, the network announced today. Ten new episodes are scheduled to debut early next year and early in 2015, respectively.

“Portlandia has celebrated sustainable local agriculture, underemployment, avian crafting, gender politics, intense bicycle messengers and so much more,” said Jennifer Caserta, president and general manager of IFC. “We can now celebrate two more seasons.”

The Lorne Michaels-produced show features both one-off sketches and recurring characters, largely portrayed by Armisen and Brownstein. Portlandia also features an impressive list of guest stars, including Kyle MacLachlan (the quirky mayor of Portland), comedian Kumail Nanjiani, Chloe Sevigny, Roseanne Barr, Patton Oswalt and many more. Let’s celebrate this excellent news by peeping Fred and Carrie in action below!
