In addition to the already-announced Ghost Ghirls for Yahoo! Screen, Jack Black may hinted that he may soon start work on an online animated series centered around Tenacious D, his longtime comedy rock act. Speaking at the Cannes Lions International Festival of Creativity this morning, Black wouldn’t give out any more details about the possible series that would co-star his musical partner Kyle Gass, only saying, “archrivals who shall remain nameless are listening…so they can do the same thing slightly better,” according to The Guardian.

Black did, however, reveal that his just-announced musical comedy event Festival Supreme will be shown on Yahoo! Screen. So for those of us not in Los Angeles, we’ll still be able to experience it.
