Here’s some great news for David Cross fans! Showtime is backing a new comedy which will be written and executive produced by Cross along with his Liberal Jew-Run Media Prods. The actor (Arrested Development, The Increasingly Poor Decisions of Todd Margaret) and writer (Mr. Show, Increasingly Poor Decisions…) described it as the story of “a modestly successful travel writer who struggles to keep his families happy and satisfied. Oh, and also from finding out about each other’s existence,” according to Deadline. While he allegedly won’t be playing the leading role, if the show moves to production, it’s a fair guess that he’ll at least make an appearance or two.
