While he’s endeared himself to a new, very young generation of fans as Danny Tanner on Full House (still going strong in syndication), Bob Saget has, more importantly, become somewhat of a comedy giant to stand-up fans. His live performances, decidedly not Full House in tone, are a rapid-fire stream of stories, one-liners, audience interactions and yes, even
dirty filthy songs. And all of that and more is full on display in his latest album, That’s What I’m Talkin’ About, to be released as a CD, download and DVD on July 16 by New Wave Dynamics.
The televised version of That’s What I’m Talkin’ About premiered on Showtime in May. His previous special That Ain’t Right aired on HBO and was released online and in stores in 2007. Saget is currently on tour (dates here) and he’s writing a book, which is due out early next year.
