And Jason Sudeikis makes three. Weeks after both Fred Armisen and Bill Hader made their departures from Saturday Night Live official, so, too, has Sudeikis. The 10-year SNL veteran told David Letterman during a taped appearance on Late Show that he will not be returning to the show this fall. And it came up quite organically. It doesn’t seem like Letterman knew Sudeikis was going to reveal his intentions.

“I’m definitely done. I won’t be coming back in the fall,” Sudeikis says matter-of-factly.

“Do they know that? Have you run this by someone?” Letterman inquires, before the comedian quips, “Well, I don’t know what kind of ratings you’re getting these days, but I would hope someone would tell them.” Sudeikis adds, “It’s been fantastic, really amazing, I’ve been very lucky.” Check out the entire exchange below.
