She may be slowly exiting her role as Ann Perkins on Parks and Recreation, but Rashida Jones has plenty on her plate, including a new show at Fox called Stuck. It was revealed this week she and her producing partner Will McCormack – with whom she wrote last year’s flick Celeste & Jesse Forever — inked a deal with the network to create the pilot, which centers on a middle-aged mother and her daughter who are both plagued with ennui. The daughter ends up taking a job at the bank at which the mother works and becomes her mom’s boss within a day. Jones, who is scheduled to leave Parks and Recreation after the first 13 episodes of the upcoming season on NBC, will not star in Stuck. Jones was recently seen in the indie drama Decoding Annie Parker with Helen Hunt and Aaron Paul. Next year she’ll be appear in the dance-themed comedy flick Cuban Fury, alongside the likes of Chris O’Dowd, Ian McShane and Nick Frost.
