About five months ago, well-respected indie music label Frenchkiss Records announced it was partnering up with comedian David Cross to launch FKR.tv in order to deliver original comedy programming. Since that time, the team at FKR.tv has rolled out shows like Song of the Wild — created by Les Savy Fav’s Tim Harrington – featuring Cross, described as a mix between Hunger Games and American Idol. Other shows like Hundredaires (about two hipsters who move to Portland, Maine), This One Time… (short stories with puppets!) and Five Questions with a Five-Year-Old (exactly what it sounds like) have premiered on FKR.tv and on the network’s official YouTube channel.

And on Thursday, FKR.tv is premiering yet another comedy joint— Law of the Land, a spoof of traditional espionage shows and movies. The series finds anti-terrorist CIA officer Phoebe Rose Quackenberry (Ali MacLean) attempting to eliminate homegrown terrorists plotting attacks against ‘Murica. Not cool, terrorists! Comedians Matt Kirshen, Baron Vaughn, Phil LaMarr, James Urbaniak, Ron Lynch and Brendon Small (among others) are also featured. To get you properly pumped for the first episode on Thursday, we have for you this exclusive trailer. Enjoy and tell us what you think!
